GMO-Free Tampa Bay Buying Club - Temple Terrace
Co-op for Mt Citra Organic Farm (* sponsor) pastured, free-range, non-GMO feed supplemented, chicken. They are also supplying heritage pork, said to be the "kobe" of pork. It is very popular with local restaurants including one in Lakeland. Stay tuned as we work to source the pork.

Strawberry Passion Organic Farm (* sponsor) – Thonotosassa and many Bay Area drop-offs (more being added so check their site often, or sign up to be a coordinator and get a percentage of your sales in free produce)
$25 minimum order delivered to your area coordinator, or you can pick up at the farm (in Thonotosassa) with no minimum. You select what you want in your basket. Order by Noon on Monday. Pick up points all over the Bay area on Friday. If there is not one near you and you want to be one, contact the farm (Charlie and Jerry). Many items are grown right on the farm, some items sourced from other local organic farms, and lastly the organic distributors in Sarasota. He genuinely tries not to purchase from any of the NAFTA supported countries (Mexico etc).

** This co-op is working on getting meat from a meat co-op, however, I cannot vouch for it at this time as the details have not been provided. My fear is the meat will come from a wholesaler who cares nothing about true grass-fed or GMO Free. So until due-diligence is done, consider yourself warned. Definitely continue to use our GMO-Free Tampa Bay Buying Club if you want true GMO Free pastured chicken (and coming soon, pork) from a farmer we have vetted or Providence Cattle for beef.

Buy a seasonal share or buy from their public market. Open on Fri/Sat or order online for mid-week pickup. Delivery now available for a nominal fee. FARMER'S MARKETS
The new Temple Terrace Farmer's Market is up and running every Saturday 8am - 12pm (year-round). ALL vendors are local, NO re-sellers! Not all are organic but you can talk to the farmers/vendors about their growing practices. You will find vendors for pastured/grass-fed meat, aquaponic tilapia, veggies, organic free-range eggs (chicken/quail), honey, spices, bread, coffee,
tropical plants/trees, knife/garden tool sharpening, soap and much more!
